Eclectic United Methodist Church

Joanne Wells

I have been teaching at Eclectic Middle School for the last five years and am currently attending Auburn University.

I have been involved in singing and band since high school. The choir is a fun place for people to gather and share their love of Christ through music. God doesn’t care if you can read music, or sing in parts, and neither do we! We also welcome people of all ages to participate.

Each year we do two major productions, our Christmas Cantata and Easter Cantata, which involve extra practices on weekends. Other than preparing for the holidays, we practice at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, and sing at the 10:50 a.m. service. After singing, we move to the congregation to sit with our families.

We invite you to come sing, whether it is for regular service, Cantatas only, Praise music, or specials for Singing Sunday, the fifth Sunday of each month. Come make a joyful noise!
